BIO

My first painting exhibition took place when I was 23 years old. I have developed my career at the intersection of technique and image, always from an artistic perspective. For 18 years I ran my own design and animation studio, collaborating with leading production companies on projects where visual storytelling played an essential role. I have worked on major film productions for directors such as Pedro Almodóvar, Fernando Trueba and Javier Gutierrez. My work as a Fulldome director is currently being screened in more than 20 venues around the world.

In my painting practice, I focus on the construction of scenes — images that contain a story, or at least suggest one. Each painting begins with an image that intrigues me because of what it hints at, rather than how it is resolved. It is a game, a proposal with no greater ambition than to invite imagination and offer a moment of contemplation and enjoyment.

I work in series, understanding each body of work as an exploration of a single idea.

Anomaly introduces a fracture into the recognizable: seemingly familiar landscapes disrupted by a presence that cannot be explained.

This is not about portraying the extraterrestrial as spectacle, but as interruption — something that alters the scale, meaning, or direction of the scene. Within these paintings there are journeys, marches, and arrivals, though it is not always clear from where or toward what. They could be other territories, or perhaps other ways of perceiving this one.
